Congratulations Dramatic Story of earthquake victims in New Zealand
In every calamity or natural disaster, there is almost always the stories of victims of a dramatic rescue. Similarly when a massive earthquake struck the second largest city in New Zealand, Christchurch.
One of the victims who claimed to get 'miracle' is a Rip Ramby that when the earthquake occurred was in the seventh floor of Building Canterbury TV (CTV) who was in Madras Road. At that time, Ramby and a number of colleagues were meeting.
"We were meeting in one corner of the room when the earthquake occurred and soon all of a sudden the building such as loss of balance," the story Ramby told Radio New Zealand as reported by NZHerald, Tuesday (22/02/2011).
Ramby told, 10 people who were in the room does not have an idea to save themselves. They just let go and wait for shocks to stop. "Hard untuh say what happened," he said.
When the shocks stopped, then the number of people who are one room with her trying to stand up and find out what happened. And Ramby very surprised when I discovered the room where they were turned out to be very close to the ground.
"When it stopped, one of us can look outside, the building proved to be extremely close to the ground. We were very close to the ground," said Ramby.
Ramby and some colleagues had then tried to seek help to people who were in the streets. At first they were just watching it. "They then come and help us get out of the wreckage of the building," he said.
According Ramby, which helped the first victim was a mother with her baby. Ramby also like to thank the rescuers who brave it extraordinary. From the building reported no casualties who died, two people were injured, one critically.
Another dramatic story also comes from the Tupi Emery, father of three children. Men are also awaiting the birth of her fourth child was trapped inside the wreckage for five hours.
During the Tupi Emery trapped, his mother, Tania, looked worried outside the building. At that time, Emery will see a doctor who was on the fourth floor of the building, was Tania was looking for lunch when the quake came.
"Really, I think he'd have gone," said Tania. But those thoughts disappeared when Emery continuously transmit a short message for him.
When trapped, Emery said she heard many cries for help from the same building. Over the past has not been evacuated, many helpers who asked how his condition at that time.
"Life," Emery said when the rescuers asked his condition. Emery also thank the helpers who had helped him and other victims. Emery suffered serious wound and burns.
